List of March Scholarships – 2026

1. Tall Clubs International Foundation Scholarships Program

Deadline: March 1, 2026

Amount: $1,000

Who is this scholarship for? Applicants must be under the age of 21 and meet the minimum height requirements for membership in Tall Clubs International—5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men — in stocking feet. This award is for high school seniors who will attend an accredited college or university in Canada as a full-time student. See scholarship provider for more details. 

From the Scholarship Donor: Kae Sumner Einfeldt, founder of Tall Clubs International, Inc. had dreams of creating an organization that would promote causes that benefit tall people. In 1992, one of those dreams became a reality in the creation of the Tall Clubs International Foundation, Inc. The Foundation realizes the special needs of exceptionally tall people. The current focus is to provide scholarships to individuals under the age of 21, entering their first year of higher education, and who meet the minimum height requirements for membership in Tall Clubs International of 5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men.

 

2. The Leonard Foundation Financial Assistance Program

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: 100 Awards From $1,000 to $1,500

Who is this scholarship for? This memorial scholarship /  bursary is open to students demonstrating financial need. Applicants must be enrolled or enrolling in an accredited undergraduate degree program in a college or university in Canada. In addition, they must participate regularly in athletic, fitness or military activities. Personal qualities showing a potential for leadership are also a requirement.

From the Scholarship Donor: The Leonard Foundation has a Charitable Trust and also a Financial Assistance Program for students who, without help from the Foundation, would not be able to continue their education. It is significant that Colonel Leonard placed emphasis on financial need rather than high academic achievement. He also believed that the recipients of his awards should have qualities for leadership so that Canada could grow.

 

3. State of Kindness Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: Up to $15,000 for up to four years

Who is this scholarship for? Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  2. Be a resident of Ontario.
  3. Be in their final year of high school, entering into full-time post-secondary studies in either a bachelor degree or diploma/certificate program.
  4. Have a cumulative average of 75% for grade 11 and available grade 12 marks.
  5. Have faced financial adversity.

From the Scholarship Donor: The State of Kindness academic scholarship program provides financial assistance to promising young students who want to further their education, achieve their goals and inspire others. Students with an academic willingness who have faced financial adversity become ambassadors to a connected network of diverse industry professionals, community leaders, mentors and program alumni.

 

4. RE/MAX Quest for Excellence Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 6, 2026

Amount: 40 Awards of $1,000 Each

Who is this scholarship for? To be eligible, entrants must be a Grade 12 student attending high school in Canada in the September 2025 – June 2026 academic year. 

From the Scholarship Donor: The Quest for Excellence scholarship program is an annual program that started in 2000 in Western Canada. Prior to expanding across Canada, the program awarded $16,000 in scholarships to 16 students in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon Territory and Northwest Territory, in the amount of $1,000 per scholarship. To date, RE/MAX has disbursed $384,000 through the Quest for Excellence scholarship program. 

 

5. Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command and Ladies Auxiliary 2024 – 2025 Bursary Program

Deadline: March 27, 2026

Amount: $1,250 Each

Who is this scholarship for? This program is open to students currently enrolled a post-secondary education. Applicants must apply to OSAP or their provincial equivalent. Students must also meet one of the following criteria:

  • Ex-service personnel or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve, and Merchant
    Navy) or their spouse, child, or grandchild.

  • Commonwealth war veterans or their spouse, child, and grandchild.

  • An Ordinary and Life member of The Royal Canadian Legion or their spouse, child, or grandchild.

  • An Associate member of The Royal Canadian Legion or their child.

  • A member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary or a child or grandchild of an LA member.

  • Stepchildren and step grandchildren may also be considered where applicable.

From the Scholarship Donor: The Bursary Program is designed to assist those students who are entering or continuing their post secondary education (including courses and training programs of a technical and vocational nature) and pursue the same course throughout their academic years.

Approved bursary assistance is not based upon scholastic standing but rather on the successful admission status to a postsecondary institution or successful completion of one or more years leading to a recognized degree, diploma or certificate.

 

6. Boom & Bucket Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: $1,000

Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is open to students attending or planning to attend colleges or trade schools across the United States and Canada.

From the Scholarship Donor: At Boom & Bucket, we believe in supporting the next generation of skilled workers in the heavy equipment industry. That’s why we’re offering a $1,000 annual scholarship to help students pursuing education in heavy machinery-related programs. Whether you’re already enrolled or planning to start a program within the next year, this scholarship is open to students attending colleges or trade schools across the United States and Canada.

 

7. Kochhar & Co. Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: $1,000

Who is this scholarship for? To be eligible for this prize, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Attend college or university on a full-time or part-time basis no later than September 2026.

  • Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.

  • Submit an answer to the essay question no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.

  • Be a resident of one of the following countries:

    • Canada

    • United States

Chartered Professional Accountant was founded in 2011 by Biki Kochhar, a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, with a small office and a single staff member. Kochhar & Co. specializes in owner-managed corporations based in the Okanagan Valley, and has offices in both downtown Kelowna and Penticton.

8. The Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarship

Deadline: March 16, 2026

Amount: 8 x $4,000

Who is this scholarship for? Recipients must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
  • At the scholarship deadline, be enrolled full-time and in good standing with a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program.
  • As of August 31, 2026, have completed at least two years of undergraduate engineering studies at a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program.
  • Be registered for a minimum of two full-time semesters for the 2026-2027 academic year at a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program.
  • Have not previously received the Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarship.

From the Scholarship Donor: The Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarship consists of eight scholarships of $4,000 each annually to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students in CEAB-accredited engineering programs.

These scholarships are awarded to undergraduate engineering students returning in the fall who have completed one year of engineering studies and who demonstrate potential to be leaders in advancing engineering in Canada.

 

9. Strike Group Canadian Immigrant Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: $2,000

Who is this scholarship for? You are encouraged to apply for this scholarship if you immigrated to Western Canada and are pursuing an education in the trades or post-secondary.

Immigration is a welcome and necessary part of growing Canada’s economy and it helps to ensure we have qualified workers to fill available jobs. 10. Orvil L. Davie Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Amount: $1,000

Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is open to students who seek financial assistance to complete a course related to the HVACR industry. For example, programs with a principle focus on sheet metal, refrigeration technology, gas fitter, mechanical engineering, etc. qualify students for this award.

From the Scholarship Donor: The purpose of the fund is to assist students in completing their education for a career in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerating industry (HVACR) and to assist in maintaining a higher caliber of HVACR industry personnel.

The fund provides bursaries to persons who require financial assistance in completing training in an accepted course directly related to the HVACR industry. Applicants for the bursaries may come from the community or vocational college systems, or through industry sources such as the provincial apprenticeship programs.
