To support you or your student with tuition and other education costs, I’ve compiled a curated list of ten scholarships with February 2026 deadlines. Each listing includes the deadline, award amount, eligibility details, and a short overview to help you quickly assess whether the opportunity fits your profile.
Keep in mind that not all scholarships are created equal. Some focus on academic achievement, others prioritize financial need, leadership, or specific career paths. Understanding what each award values will help you craft stronger applications and increase your chances of success.

List of February Scholarships
1. Kin Canada Bursary
Deadline: February 1, 2026
Amount: $1,000
Who is Eligible? To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Plan to register as a full-time student in the 2026-2027 school year at a recognized post-secondary institution (e.g. University, College, Trade School, Technical Institute).
- Demonstrate high ideals, community involvement and knowledge of Kin, and
- Not have previously received a Kin Canada Bursary.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: Kin Canada Bursaries was established in 1994 by Kin Canada as a legacy to its Founder, Harold Allin Rogers, O.C., O.B.E. (1899-1994) and is funded by Kinsmen and Kinettes across Canada. The program was established to promote, encourage and sponsor educational programs and activities, by providing financial assistance in the amount of $1000 to successful applicants in their quest for higher learning at a recognized post-secondary institution.
2. SME Education Foundation Scholarships
Deadline: February 1, 2026
Amount: Awards range from $2,500 to $20,000
Who is Eligible? The SME Education Foundation annually awards millions of dollars in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students pursuing two-year, four-year or advanced degrees in manufacturing or engineering. Specifically, this award is open to:
- Graduating high school seniors or current post-secondary students
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Pursuing a degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related discipline
- Attending accredited college or university in the United States or Canada
- Permanent resident or citizen of the United States, Canada, or possess a student visa
- Full-time or part-time student
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: With more than 60 distinct scholarship programs, the Foundation provides merit and need-based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities. The Foundation has awarded 18 million to over 5,000 future industry leaders since 2005 and awards nearly a million dollars in scholarships each year.
3. Pattison Media Equity Scholarship
Deadline: February 20, 2026
Amount: 4 x $2,500
Who is Eligible? To be awarded this scholarship, students must:
- Be a resident of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
- Be attending, on a full-time basis, a post-secondary institution in a recognized Journalism program.
- Must be a Canadian citizen.

4. Indspire Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries, Scholarships, and Awards
Deadline: February 1, 2026
Amount: Various Award Amounts
Who is Eligible? This collection of scholarships is available for First Nation, Inuit, and Métis students.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: Successful futures are created through hard work, creativity, and perseverance. Each one of us has a unique potential to achieve, and for First Nation, Inuit, and Métis students, Indspire is here to help make that happen. Indspire provides hundreds of scholarships, bursaries and awards to thousands of Indigenous students every year!
5. RBC Future Launch Scholarship
Deadline: Rolling deadline
Amount: $1,500
Who is Eligible? The RBC Future Launch Scholarship will be awarded to those who show a clear vision for their future and meet the following requirements:
- For Canadian youth between 15 – 29 years old
- Enrolled part time in school or not in school at all
- A Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident
- Grades and transcripts are not required
- Not working at RBC or a dependent of someone working at RBC.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: The RBC Future Launch Scholarship could help you take your next step towards a better job. This Scholarship is for anyone from 15 to 29 who wants to learn something new… Could $1,500 make you more future ready?
6. Hamilton Community Foundation Student Awards
Deadline: February 1, 2026
Amount: Bursary amounts vary
Who is Eligible? This award is open to students who:
- Graduate from a publicly funded high school in Hamilton.
- Apply for OSAP (you don’t need to have received funding).
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: The Student Awards program provides educational bursaries to students who demonstrate financial need and who have graduated from a publicly funded Hamilton high school.
Students must be in attendance at an approved college or university in Canada or, for specialized programs, in the United States. Students must also have applied for OSAP funding (but not necessarily received) to receive this award.
7. Toronto CREW Scholarship Program
Deadline: February 18, 2026
Amount: $3,000
Who is Eligible? This award is open to applicants who:
- Identify as female.
- Enrolled in the last two years of a post-secondary level program with a curriculum focused on professions found in the commercial real estate industry.
- Demonstrated interest in and plans to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry.
- Demonstrated community involvement, which may include school activities.
- Superior academic achievement with a grade average above 75%.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women (Toronto CREW) is a business development network for women who represent a broad cross-section of disciplines in the commercial real estate industry. Toronto CREW is a chapter within CREW Network which has over 10,000 members across 70 major markets in North America. CREW Network is the industry’s premier business networking organization dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate. There are currently six chapters across Canada – Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatoon.
8. Transportation Association of Canada Scholarships
Deadline: February 28, 2026
Amount: Several awards between $2,500 and $6,000
Who is Eligible? This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements:
- Must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution (university or college) in an academic program related to, and hope to pursue a career in, the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. This includes, but isn’t limited to, civil and transportation engineering.
- Must be enrolled in at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2026 through August 2027, and have completed at least 50% of their current degree by September 2026.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: In 2026, the TAC Foundation is pleased to offer students the opportunity to apply for scholarships valuing between $2500 and $6000. The scholarships are intended to help support their post-secondary education in transportation-related studies.
The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant’s specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills.
9. Co-Operative Housing Federation of Toronto Diversity Scholarship
Deadline: February 10, 2026
Amount: Various Awards at $5,000 Each
Who is Eligible? This scholarship is open to Canadian students who:
- live in a CHFT member co-op.
- plan to attend a publicly funded, Canadian community college or university or graduate program or approved apprentice training program on a full-time basis in the 2026/2027 academic year.
- have used their knowledge and understanding of diversity to make a positive contribution to their school and/or local community.
- have a demonstrated financial need.
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: The program is for people living in CHFT member housing co-ops. An important element of the scholarship is the strong commitment to diversity shown by the applicants in their communities. Students are awarded their scholarships largely based on their community involvement in their schools, co-op communities and in a variety of community based organizations. To date people from over 116 co-ops have won scholarships.
10. The Cmolik Foundation Scholarships
Deadline: February 7, 2026
Amount: 20 scholarships up to $45,000
Who is Eligible? To be eligible for this bursary, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current resident of BC
- Have lived in Canada for at least 7 years
- Be in Grade 12 or a recent secondary school graduate
- Have demonstrated financial need
- Have faced adversity
- Plan to be a full-time student
- Be ineligible for the BC Tuition Waiver Program (for former youth in care)
- Use funding for a post-secondary institution or college
- Be endorsed by their school principal
From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: While a post-secondary education can be life-changing, it’s a goal that’s out of reach for many students. We’re trying to change that. Every year, we award up to 20 scholarships, each one a maximum of $45,000 paid over five years of study, to students graduating from BC high schools. Scholarship recipients have faced adversity but have responded with positivity and tenacity, achieving academic and social goals. With hard work and support, their post-secondary dreams can become a reality.
