1. The Terry Fox Humanitarian Award
Deadline: December 1, 2025
Amount: Up to $28,000
Who is this scholarship for? To be considered for the Award, applicants must meet be:
- In good academic standing.
- Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
- Students graduating from secondary (high) school or students completing their first year of CÉGEP or students who have completed secondary (high) school
- Involved in voluntary humanitarian activities (for which they have not been compensated).
- Planning to or are already studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution, or entering their 2nd year of CÉGEP in the upcoming academic year.
From the Scholarship Donor: The vision of the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program is to be one of the most prestigious scholarships in the country, dedicated to honouring and advancing the humanitarian legacy of Terry Fox – one of Canada’s most recognized heroes – by encouraging Canadian youth to emulate Terry’s courage and determination through volunteer work and humanitarian services.

2. Burger King Scholars Program
Deadline: December 15, 2025
Amount: Various prizes between $1,000 and $50,000
Who is this scholarship for? Applicants must be living in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico. The prize is open to high school seniors. Those who have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent. Plan to enroll as a full-time student, without interruption, for the entire academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.
From the Scholarship Donor: The BURGER KING℠ Scholars program assists employees, employees’ spouses or domestic partners, employees’ children and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada in continuing their education. To date, the program has awarded more than $53 million in scholarships to more than 46,000 students. Last year alone, $4.3 million in scholarships were awarded to nearly 4,000 deserving students.

3. TrustedPros Scholarships
Deadline: December 15, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? Those interested in applying for applying for scholarship consideration must:
- Be Canadian or US residents enrolled in an accredited Canadian or US college, university or trade school
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Have a demonstrated financial need.
From the Scholarship Donor: As the demand for construction and home improvement specialists in Canada and the US continues to grow, the need for skilled tradespeople is increasing by leaps and bounds. This will depend largely on the ability of training programs to turn out highly-qualified individuals who will provide the backbone of the industry.
To help ensure that these fields will be able to meet the need for specialized skills in years to come, Toronto-based home improvement platform TrustedPros has instituted a scholarship program.

4. Strike Group Women in Energy Scholarship
Deadline: December 31, 2025
Amount: $2,000
Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship will be awarded to students who will:
- Be enrolled in full time post-secondary that is specific to the Energy and/or Construction industry, or a trades program in Western Canada and maintain satisfactory academic standing throughout the program;
- Committed to updating Strike on academic progress throughout duration of their program;
- Be a person that identifies as a female;
- Must currently live in Western Canada (ie. British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba).
From the Scholarship Donor: Strike is helping create equal opportunities for women and creating an atmosphere of respect and acceptance. We aim to make a meaningful impact in our industry by encouraging women to pursue careers in the trades and construction, and by actively creating opportunities for education, apprenticeships, and hiring. Increasing participation of women in the trades and onsite management helps to replenish Canada’s skilled construction workforce.

5. Lynn G. Bellenger Scholarship
Deadline: December 1, 2025
Amount: $5,000
Who is this scholarship for? Scholarship for women in engineering, currently enrolled in an accredited program by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
From the Scholarship Donor: The Lynn G. Bellenger Scholarship is available to female undergraduate students who are enrolled in an ABET-accredited program leading to a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree. Your course of study must be related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30 percent.

6. North American Van Lines 2025 Logistics Scholarship Competition
Deadline: December 15, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? The eligibility for this scholarship are as follows:
- Canadian Citizen (or permanent resident).
- Enrolled (or enrolling) as full time student of accredited college/university within a Canadian province, for completion of undergraduate degree in Logistics or equivalent field.
- Limit of one (1) entry per contestant.
- Employees and professional affiliates of North American Van Lines (and their immediate families) are not eligible.
From the Scholarship Donor: We don’t simply feel that education is important—we factor it into our central philosophy, in everything from our business practices to our way of life. Because of this, we’re excited to begin offering the opportunity for qualifying Canadian students to receive our new scholarship, intended for students in the area of business, logistics, and similar fields, with four lucky winners being selected to receive an award amount of $1,000 each.

7. IDigic Scholarship Program
Deadline: December 12, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? The eligibility for this scholarship are as follows:
- The scholarship program is open to all students who are enrolled in a college or university.
- Students must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be attending full-time or applying to attend full-time study (for graduating high school students).
From the Scholarship Donor: The scholarship is offered by iDigic to support those students who are pursuing education through a registered educational institute in any country. The scholarship aims at recognizing and rewarding the commitment of these students to improving their education and bringing their expertise to the workforce. The scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated excellence in their work and also has the potential to become an influential leader in their field.

8. Hilary M. Weston Scholarship
Deadline: December 15, 2025
Amount: $7,500
Who is this scholarship for? Scholarship is open to students in social work in the area of mental health. Additionally, applicants must:
- be registered, or plan to register, in a full-time graduate level social work program at a publicly funded Ontario university in the next academic year. If you’re a student with a permanent disability, you must take at least 40% of a full course load.
- have demonstrated interest in and commitment to mental health issues through community service or paid work.
- have demonstrated academic excellence.
- have lived in Ontario for at least 12 consecutive months immediately before your registration in a social work program.
From the Scholarship Donor: The Hilary M. Weston Scholarship commemorates the legacy of Ontario’s 26th Lieutenant Governor and is awarded to two graduate-level social work students in the area of mental health. Successful applicants each receive a one-time award of $7,500.

9. Linda Jones Memorial Award
Deadline: December 31, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is open to students meeting the following requirements:
- Students must be in a land reclamation related program, including but not limited to agriculture, biology, botany, environmental science, environmental studies, engineering, forestry, geography, land reclamation, landscape architecture, mining, plant science, soil science at a post secondary Canadian educational institution.
- Students may be in an undergraduate program, or a graduate program (MSc, PhD).
From the Scholarship Donor: The award honours Linda Jones, for significant service to the Canadian Land Reclamation Association / Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD) as secretary treasurer for over twenty years. Linda was specifically interested in promoting student participation in CLRA events and membership in CLRA.
One award is presented annually to students in a reclamation related program at a Canadian institution in recognition of excellence in academic studies which advance the theory, knowledge or practice of land reclamation.

10. Extensiv Supply Chain Scholarship
Deadline: December 1, 2025
Amount: $2,500
Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is open to:
- Undergraduate and graduate students (master’s level) pursuing Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
- Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university within the United States or Canada.
- Open to international students.
From the Scholarship Donor: The Extensiv Supply Chain Scholarship is intended to give aspiring logistics and supply chain professionals financial support during their educational journey. It is also meant to inspire new ideas for the supply chain and warehousing industry.
