To help you stay ahead, I’ve curated a list of 10 exciting scholarship opportunities for July 2025. You’ll find these awards and more through our Free Scholarship Finder, which is updated regularly with the latest scholarships, grants, and bursaries for Canadian high school, college, and university students.
When applying, remember: scholarships come in all shapes and sizes. Some are based on your field of study, province, gender, background, GPA, financial need, leadership, or even unique interests. Matching your personal profile to the right awards is key to maximizing your chances of success.

List of July Scholarships: 2025

1. $1,000 Annual Scholarship Sponsored by Double A Solutions
Deadline: July 1, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is open to students who will be enrolled in a post-secondary program in the upcoming academic year. Specifically, applicants must be:
- Presently a senior in high school;
- Or be transitioning from high school to college or university;
- Or be already enrolled in a college or university at any level in the United States or Canada.
From the Scholarship Donor: Our mission is to develop cutting-edge Software as a service solutions allowing companies to automate and eliminate the manual activities they may be doing today. In addition to building software, we are striving to serve our customers in a professional manner and help them get the most out of the products we produce.

2. DCCI Scholarship for Canadian Students with Disabilities
Deadline: July 31, 2025
Amount: $1,000
Who is this scholarship for? This scholarship is offered to a Canadian high school senior with a documented disability. The student must pursue pursue a degree at an accredited Canadian institution in one of the following fields:
- Health care;
- Criminal justice;
- Community & social services.
From the Scholarship Donor: Disability Credit Canada is committed to helping young disabled Canadians achieve their goals in higher education or vocational training towards employment and we are proud to be offering the “DCCI Scholarship for Canadian Students with Disabilities”.

3. The ManCap Foundation 2025 Education Grant
Deadline: July 31, 2025
Amount: $5,000
Who is this scholarship for? Eligible applicants must:
- Be a high school graduate, and
- Be entering first year of studies at an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution, and
- Demonstrate — through your answers to the questions in our application — entrepreneurial ambition.
From the Scholarship Donor: The ManCap Foundation offers grants in the names of Alberta entrepreneurs to Alberta high school graduates entering the first year of studies at an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution, in preparation for starting a business. The grants, valued at $5,000 each, are awarded to selected students on the basis of acceptance to one of those institutions, two letters of recommendation and answers to the questions in our application.

4. Mon Sheong Foundation Golden Jubilee Scholarship
Deadline: July 10, 2025
Amount: $4,000
Who is this scholarship for? This award is open to all high school students who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Graduating from an Ontario high school or CEGEP with a minimum average of 80% among their top 6 Grade 12 or CEGEP marks;
- Enrolled full-time in a degree or diploma program at a recognized publicly funded Canadian university or college beginning Fall 2025; and
- Aspiring to make a difference in their communities.
Applications are evaluated based on academic standing, voluntary community involvement, leadership, character, aspiration to make a difference.
From the Scholarship Donor: Created to commemorate our 50th anniversary, the Mon Sheong Golden Jubilee Scholarship is presented annually to students who demonstrate well-rounded excellence and desire to make real change—whether in their communities or around the world. The award recognizes outstanding achievement, commendable contributions, and the strength of personal character. We are proud to celebrate and support exemplary students by empowering them to reach their full potential.

5. Petro-Canada Award for Indigenous High School Students
Deadline: July 1, 2025
Amount: $750
Who is this scholarship for? To be eligible, students must be:
- Enrolled full-time in a high school within Canada.
- Have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number.
- Students must be under the age of 19 and a Canadian citizen.
From the Scholarship Donor: The Petro-Canada Award for Indigenous Students is for Canadian First Nations, Inuit and Métis students who are enrolled in a Canadian high school program and are under the age of 19.

6. Support Our Troops National Scholarship Program
Deadline: July 17, 2025
Amount: Up to $5,000
Who is this scholarship for? To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must be a:
- Spouse and/or dependent(s) of a serving member of the CAF that are:
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and
- Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or vocational program, at an accredited Canadian college or university, leading to a degree, diploma or certificate.
From the Scholarship Donor: Due to the unique circumstances of military life, funds for pursuing post-secondary education are a significant barrier for many Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) families. The National Scholarship Program works to remove some of those barriers.

7. The OTA Education Foundation
Deadline: July 15, 2025
Amount: Multiple awards up to $1,500
Who is this scholarship for? There are several awards with unique eligibility requirements. Please see scholarship provider for specific details. However, general guidelines are that applicants must be:
- A resident of Canada;
- 25 years of age or younger as of January 1 of the academic year for which the scholarship applies;
- Enrolled on a full-time basis in a public Canadian university or college program that is a minimum of 2 years in length, and that will lead to a diploma or degree;
- The child of at least one parent who works in the Ontario trucking industry.
From the Scholarship Donor: We are a charitable institution devoted to the furtherance of education for Ontario post-secondary students. Established in 1958 by visionaries of the Ontario trucking industry, the Foundation was founded with the goal of providing assistance to Ontario students, regardless of their field of study, who have demonstrated their commitment to academic success, community service, and who have or plan to have an affiliation with the trucking industry.

8. Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers National Scholarship Program
Deadline: July 14, 2025
Amount: Multiple awards from $3,250 to $15,000
Who is this scholarship for? To be eligible for these awards, students must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be Canadian residents studying in Canada.
- Applicants must be enrolled or expected to enrol in a post-secondary program of at least 2 years.
- All Graduating High School Students
- College/University students must be enrolled in at least one more year of study as of the current year.
- Applicants must be working for a current CFIG member (retail, associate, affiliate) or be a family member of an employee of a current CFIG member.
From the Scholarship Donor: The Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) is a non-profit trade association founded in 1962 which continues to be a collaborative community, equipping and enabling independent, franchised and specialty grocers for sustainable success. We act as a strong and united voice for over 6900 independent grocery retailers, across Canada, providing programs for operational excellence and fostering solid relationships among retailers and suppliers.

9. Buckhorn Fine Art Award
Deadline: July 18, 2025
Amount: $500
Who is this scholarship for? This award is open to adults (age 17 or older), pursuing an education in the visual arts at a recognized Canadian art institution, who demonstrates community involvement and is in need of nurturing support and recognition.
From the Scholarship Donor: The Wagstaffe family are hardworking, long-term volunteers at the Buckhorn Festival of the Arts. Since the 1980s they have dedicated countless hours to support and facilitate this and other fund-raising events at the Buckhorn Community Centre. They are also avid art collectors and promoters of the visual arts.
In keeping with the mandate of the Buckhorn Festival of the Arts to recognize and support contemporary artistic talent, one award of $500.00 is available annually.

10. Toronto Mass Choir (TMC) Youth Scholarship Fund
Deadline: July 31, 2025
Amount: $300 to $500
Who is this scholarship for? Applicants must:
- Be 17-25 years of age.
- Be a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen and must be a resident of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Be enrolled as a full time student to an accredited post- secondary institution in the province of Ontario.
- Include 2 reference letters.
From the Scholarship Donor: The TMC Youth Scholarship Fund provides financial support to students enrolled in post-secondary education who are actively engaged in improving their community.
For over 30 years, TMC has performed across Canada and around the world. Our Youth Scholarship Fund means so much to us because it is another way that we can give back to the community.
