While selecting a single winner for the 2024 BridgesEDU $1,000 Scholarship for Canadian Students was a privilege, it was also a challenging decision for our committee. With 660 applications to evaluate, narrowing it down to just one winner was not easy. Today, we’re excited to shine a light on a few incredible students who made the decision incredibly difficult.
Please join us in recognizing our Honourable Mention Award recipients! These are students whose applications stood out in exceptional ways. They were authentic, unique, and a pleasure to read. Overall, the students below truly captured our attention and left an impression on our committee.
Why We’re Celebrating These Students
Each of these remarkable students shared personal stories that showcased their achievements. Beyond this, they also demonstrated their ability to rise above challenges.
Although these five students did not win the grand prize, we want them—and everyone reading this—to know how meaningful their efforts were. The care they put into their applications, the honesty of their stories, and their visions for the future were truly inspiring.
