November is a key month for scholarship applications and a great time to boost your chances of funding your education.

Fortunately, there are scholarships for every kind of student. Some are based on academics or financial need, while others focus on your career goals, school, community involvement, or personal identity. The secret to standing out? Understanding exactly what each award values and then tailoring your application to match.

Targeting scholarships that fit your profile, like your program, background, or future goals, also helps you find less competitive awards. That’s how you apply smarter, not harder.
